White Chocolate Pound Cake

White Chocolate Pound Cake

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup All purpose flour
1/4 tsp/ salt {if using salted butter; you can omit adding salt}
3/4 tsp. baking powder
2 sticks of butter {equivalent to 1 cup}
1 1/4 cups sugar or less
3-4 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup white chocolate chips

Directions:

Cream butter and sugar {about 2-3 minutes}
Add eggs one at a time and add the vanilla extract
Mix flour, salt, baking powder and add to wet ingredients in 3 batches
Beat for 30 seconds or until fully incorporated {don't over mix}
Pour batter in a well greased pan, and bake at 350 for 1 hour or so, or until toothpick comes out clean.

I love this cake! This always comes out great. It's easy to prepare and always a hit at parties. I've been doing this cake for years. You can add whatever chocolates you have at hand. I prefer the white chocolate chips. Nom. Nom. Nom. This is a keeper.

Enjoy baking!
